Equipment Management - Availability of Tools
Cherne's tools and equipment facility includes a 35,000 square foot warehouse and equipment maintenance structure, situated on a 10 acre fenced equipment yard. The facility is well-equipped with all types of construction equipment and tools from cranes to welding machines to hand tools, and everything in between. And if we don't have it in our stock, our nationwide network of tool and equipment vendors allows us to fulfill any tool or equipment need in a timely and cost-effective manner.
In order to assist the jobsite in the requisitioning of tools and equipment, Cherne maintains several predefined tool packages, some of which are listed below:
- Pre-configured and equipped instrument and insulation trailers
- Pre-filled welder and foreman tool-boxes by craft
- Weld rod control centers
- Pre-built and stocked tool rooms
- Pre-equipped sheet metal fabrication shop for insulators
- Instrument and calibration centers
Use of these packages ensures that all of the required tools are easily ordered and readily available. These preassembled tool and equipment packages help make the newly hired craft work force productive with everything they need to go to work on Day 1. |
