Trained Workforce
Cherne has been a union only constructor since its inception in 1916. This longstanding relationship has been mutually beneficial to us and the construction trades. Cherne gains the advantage of a well trained, productive team ready to go to work when we come to town to build a new project. The construction trades benefit by having a friend in the industry – a company that they can count on to provide them with good jobs and a safe, well managed project.
Our longstanding relationship with the union trades benefits our clients as well – through our shared interests and common goals, we can deliver the best value in the industrial construction market.
Below are links to the websites of many of the unions with which we work. On these sites, you can review the training and commitment required of those pursuing journeyman status.
