Safety
In 1990 Cherne adopted its Zero Accident Program which is based on the belief that all accidents are preventable and that all construction projects should be managed with the goal of zero accidents. Our program focuses on:
- Safe work planning,
- Elimination of unsafe acts through training, coaching, observation of work practices, behavior modification and accountability, and
- Continuous evaluation of program effectiveness.
The combination of our zero accident philosophy with effective planning, training and safety program administration has resulted in Cherne's becoming an industry leader in safety performance. |
