Safety Training

Cherne utilizes trained union craftsmen with the knowledge and skill necessary to safely perform the work. We enhance this knowledge base with site specific and task specific training tailored to the project work environment. Cherne also staffs each project with onsite safety professionals to ensure that regulatory and site specific requirements are executed.

We provide staff, foremen, and general foremen with specialized safety training through Dupont's Safety Training Observation Program (STOP™).

STOP is a behavior-based approach that educates the user to recognize hazardous acts and conditions and to intervene and mitigate these findings through non-confrontational methods.
