Project Controls Professionals

Meeting our clients’ schedule objectives is a critical element in all our projects. This requires detailed planning, monitoring and reporting on every aspect of the job. Each of our projects has project controls professionals onsite to accomplish this work. 

Specific responsibilities include:
Planning - Develop and maintain primary and area specific schedules, project control documents and labor forecasts.
Monitoring - Analyze work progress and develop craft productivity reports. Work with other departments as required to ensure good communication and schedule adherence.
Follow-up - Watch for schedule variances through assessment of progress data supplied by others, as well as personal observation and verification of project completion progress. Communicate potential problems, interference and schedule difficulties to senior management. Work to prevent and, if needed, resolve problems so they have minimal impact on project goals.

Education
A four-year degree in construction management or similar field or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience.

Experience
Two or more years of similar construction-scheduling experience is required. Working knowledge of and ability to apply resource monitoring and control techniques and computer scheduling techniques. General understanding of the nature of process systems, structures, and construction process is also essential.
