Quality Control Professionals

QC professionals, including inspectors/engineers and a site quality manager, staff each construction project with the responsibility to ensure delivery of quality construction.

Specific responsibilities include:
Planning - Assist in the establishment of project standards based on contract requirements and regulations.
Preparing - Develop and communicate project quality procedures and protocols. Perform staff and craft employee training on quality standards and procedures.
Follow-up - Conduct work area audits, inspections and tests of work as it is performed. Identify and control existing and predictable deficiencies and implement effective corrective measures.

Education
We look for a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience and technical training. ASNT Level II or III certification in at least two NDE methods and AWS QC1 Welding Inspector certification is necessary as well.

Experience
We hire both entry level and experienced professionals for our quality group. Industrial construction inspection experience is preferred, with the proven ability to identify quality issues, effectively correct them, and prevent their reoccurrence. Our QC professionals work with clients, and all levels of employees, and therefore must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. 

QC managers need to have at least five years of industrial construction inspection experience in addition to some degree of supervisory background.
